About Us

Relax. Laugh. Have a Great Beer.

People come to Salmon Creek Pub to lift the weight off their shoulders, enjoy their friends, and taste some of the best micro-brews Vancouver has to offer. Come on in and meet some new friends!

Salmon Creek Brewery got started in Woodland, WA in 1994 and moved to the present location in 1998. We started strictly as a brewery and only did wholesale beer sales. In March of 1998, however, we opened the “PUB”.

Now we serve great food with an ever changing menu. In addition to our standard pub fare, we have an assortment of non standard dishes ranging from pasta to steaks. Larry Pratt, our Master Brewer, makes sure that all 18 taps are pouring the increased array of ales brewed in house and to provide guest taps for some of our favorite breweries in the NW as well as some imported brands. We also serve a fine assortment of local and California wines, and we have an astounding selection of single malt scotches available.

Whether a pub regular or an out-of-town guest, everyone is greeted with a warm reception, friendly service, creative menu items and unique specials that complement the full range of Salmon Brewery beers.

Mr. Larry Pratt -Master Brewer

Salmon Creek Brewery and Pub’s Master Brewer, Larry Pratt, always loved beer. He began brewing his own beer in the late ‘80s and he soon became very good at it. He is now brewing every week, (and sometimes twice a week with the demands) about 6 barrels at a time. He brews always from full grain, never from extracts and never partial brewing. He takes a standard recipe and then he tweaks it. Like an artist, he tries new blends, always favoring the taste of malts over the hops. But the balance is what he always tries to achieve. He has been awarded many awards: one being the Gold Medal at the Spring Beer & Wine Fest of Portland in 2005, and the best brewpub in the sate of Washington for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009 by the readers of the Northwest Brewing News!
